Trade Deal Watch aims to shine a light on Brexit negotiations and post-Brexit trade deals.
UK citizens have shown themselves to be greatly concerned with rising inequality, lowered standards, globalisation, privatisation of public services, and passing of sovereignty from governments to corporations.
The Brexit government has shown itself to be desperate for ‘fast trade deals’, has few skilled negotiators and may wish to copy and paste unpopular trade deals such as TTIP and CETA.
We will push for transparency in Brexit negotiations and deals to allow for public scrutiny and activism.
The vote for Brexit was not the end of democracy. We will increase democracy in the Brexit world.
